This training explores the process of identity formation and self-conception as it relates to children experiencing this phase of development through digital means. Specific topics covered are: social media's interaction with self-esteem, resilience building skills parents can use, applying Erikson's stages of development to therapeutic tasks, and how implicit bias can affect children's experience of algorithms.
All trainings listed above are approved for LPC, LCSW, LPAT, and LCADC license holders in Kentucky. All trainings are approved by the Kentucky Board of Social Work (a credentialing body recognized by the Oregon BLSW). Oregon LCSW's may count these trainings toward their required CE hours.

Best Practices in Telehealth (2 CEUs)
This course is designed to satisfy the requirement put forth in KRS 335.158 for social workers to complete 2 hrs of training specific to the ethics and practices of telehealth social work during each renewal cycle. This training has been approved by the Kentucky Board of Social Work only.
