Michael Eiden, PhD, LCSW, LCADC, CSAT, CCS is a researcher, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Board-Certified Sex Therapist, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. He earned his doctorate from the International Institute of Clinical Sexology, and holds a master’s degree from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work.
Dr. Eiden has over 13 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings. His doctoral research focused on creating effective educational programs to help parents address addictive internet use in their children.
Dr. Eiden lives in Portland, OR and maintains a private practice, conducts professional training and lecture series, and writes about psychotherapy related topics.
