About Me

I am a researcher, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Board-Certified Sex Therapist, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I earned my doctorate from the International Institute of Clinical Sexology, and I hold a master’s degree from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work.

I have over 10 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings. My doctoral work focused on creating effective educational programs to help parents address addictive screen and internet use in their children.

My Practice & Approach

I am a full-time clinician in private practice, specializing in:

• Traumatic bonding

• Process addictions, including sex addiction and screen addiction

• Complex trauma

My treatment approach is active and experiential. I draw from a range of evidence-based and integrative methods, including:

• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

• Experiential therapies

• Task-centered models for addiction treatment
